The Subaru Sambar is unlike any other Kei truck on the market. Its rear-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout (with optional 4WD) gives it exceptional maneuverability in tight spaces — perfect for vineyards, orchards, and confined job sites where other trucks struggle to turn around. The Sambar’s narrow turning radius is genuinely remarkable: it can execute U-turns in spaces that would require a full multi-point turn from any other vehicle.

The Sambar’s rear-mounted engine places weight over the rear wheels, giving the drive axle excellent traction even in 2WD mode.
